Debate

I have multiple domains, and they are taking a lot of my time to update each one with content. I am debating to just minimize and compact them into the top three. I believe, now thinking about this, I will. I need to focus! so I will minimize…

Last night, I got so involved in centralizing my development environment and backing up my work, that when I looked at the clock, the time was 1:00 AM 😬. I totally lost track of time and missed my reading session and also my journal (pen and paper (penmanship practice and concentration)). But at least I now have a central device that I use to write my posts and my work is being backed up automatically nightly and exported to a different storage. I do not have to worry about my work being unrecoverable, unless both devices gets corrupted and/or destroyed.

My next work (tomorrow), joining my other sites and forwarding those sites to this one.

Learning:
Continuing to Study for my CompTIA Security+.
Started reading about Swift (Apple app development).
Started learning Python.
Started learning JavaScript.
Started learning PHP 8.
Started learning React and React Native.
Started learning PostgreSQL.

I figure, if I learn all these at the same time, aside from Security+, they are all similar in one form or another.

I have nothing but time!

Success

I read this quote, “If success is meant to be, then being successful is up to me.”

Epiphany!

I have to do what is necessary, if I don’t do what is necessary, then success is not within me.

Just Start

Sir Isaac Newton’s Laws of motion states, “An object at rest remains at rest, and an object in motion remains in motion.”, or so what I recall.

I refer to that law now. I understand that law to be, if I sit and watch television, I will continue to sit and watch television. If I study, the more I will study. If I study and get distracted, the more I will move away from my studies and the more I will be distracted. I guess this is where focus comes in. The more I focus in not getting distracted, the more I remain focus in what I am doing and getting done.

Yesterday, I was able to get one hour studying time of Security+. Today I am going for three hours. After all, the more I study, the more I study, or so Newton’s law states.

I will see, as I also have to remain focused.

This will be good for me, as this will also teach me not only Security+, but also how to build my study habits, remove bad habits and create new good habits.

I am excited! 😊

Work Hard

“Learn to work harder on yourself than you do on your job. If you work hard on your job you can make a living, but if you work hard on yourself you’ll make a fortune.” -Jim Rohn

Reading that statement from Mr. Rohn really opened my eyes. Why am I working harder for others than for myself? Do I not want a fortune, rather than just a living?

I am straightening my life out and getting my priorities straight. I come first!

I must break my lazy mindset and just start…
